The ENT Department of MGMC is highly frequented by patients of all ages including minor children and the aged, for their Ear, Nose and Throat problems for preventive and curative care and genuine diagnostic facilities available on-site. Patients having ENT problems from other Departments are also referred to the doctors in this Department for specialized diagnosis and treatment.
Facilities like ontological examination/ nasal examination/ throat examination/ audio logical testing-examination (in a sound proof room) and for deafness testing are available in the Department. The Department has also recently been equipped with video-laryngoscopy examination camera to diagnose patient with voice disorder and to diagnose laryngopharyngeal reflux disorder. After necessary examination the patient is advised treatment accordingly. Patients suffering partial deafness may be advised the use of appropriate hearing aids.

The ENT Doctors carry out instant procedures such as for ear syringe/ear suction/nasal examination/ VLE etc.

Since MGMC has an on-site CT scan facility patients are advised to undergo urgent imaging/CT scan as may be required.

While minor procedures are undertaken by the MGMC ENT specialists’ major ENT surgery if required, is referred to other Clinics.

All ENT Instruments are sterilized in the autoclave every day.

Yes, our ENT department offers various specialized procedures and treatments, including endoscopic sinus surgery, tympanoplasty (ear drum repair), septoplasty (deviated septum correction), tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, cochlear implantation, and vocal cord surgery. We also provide diagnostic tests such as audiograms, nasal endoscopy, and laryngoscopy.
